As the Statewide Trainer, you will coordinate with region and central office staff to determine inconsistencies and training needs. You'll develop and provide standard training and procedures for revenue agents statewide ensuring consistent procedures,
practices
and quality of work. In addition, you'll be assisting, coaching and mentoring other Revenue Agents and representing the Collections program at various meetings for legislation implementation and coordination with other divisions.

Some of what you'll do

Manage the Statewide Collections training for Revenue Agents, Tax Service Representatives, and Customer Service Staff.
Develop training plan and curriculum and conduct training to assure consistency.
Coordinate the statewide training conferences; including development, presentation and performance based outcomes.
Maintain and coordinate revision of Collections training manual in conjunction with the Collections Technical
expert
.
Coordinate with the Collections Technical Expert to develop or revise procedures, tasks, legal documents and Collections inserts.
In conjunction with the Collections Technical Expert, performs quality assurance checks.
Assist with help desk operations for the Liniis and ARC
systems
for collection staff.
Assist with implementation of legislation that impacts Collections and with bill analysis as needed.
Coordinate with the Collections Program
manager
, Collections Technical Expert and other Collections RA4's to assist in updating policies, procedures, plain talk documents, and implementing legislation.


Who Should Apply
Persons with at least 3 years as a Revenue Agent 3, or 5 years of experience in the collection of civil or criminal debt, law enforcement, personal or corporate finance,
accounting
or bookkeeping, or investigations involving personal background, business practices or fraud

What we're looking for

A collections trainer that can build rapport with both region and central office staff through cooperation, credibility and expertise.
Experience successfully developing and delivering training curriculum, training manuals, policies and procedures.
Knowledge of E-learning (on-line training modules).
Proven track record of delivering results.
BA in Business or related field (additional qualifying experience may substitute year-for-year for education).
Technical knowledge of L&I systems used by Collections staff.
Knowledge of the Lean fundamentals and process improvement is desired.
The ideal person in this job is someone who is able to take charge, while partnering with
management
and staff to design, implement, monitor and continue to improve the Collections Training Program.
